1. Find Your Content

Move over PewDiePie, there are hundreds of awesome up-and-coming YouTubers and channels to subscribe to for your fix of gaming-related videos. With so many incredible options nowadays, if you can sift through the madness you’ll end up with a number of well-produced, informed and expertly-written content about video games.

Luckily for gamers, we went through the best of the best, and the worst of the worst, and came up with a shortlist of some of our favorite YouTube channels for video games. 1. The Syndicate Project

The Syndicate Project has reached nearly 10 million subscribers — but it wasn’t always so big. 3. Rev3Games

Remember Adam Sessler? He was made famous by G4TV and its review show X-Play, which ran until 2013. Now he’s putting out awesome, personality-laden videos on his YouTube channel, Rev3Games! Also starring Tara Long, Anthony Carboni and other co-hosts, this channel has a casual, yet super entertaining style of video content that features reviews, Let’s Plays, and live streaming game play. 4. The Gaming Historian

Much like its name implies, the Gaming Historian is documentary-style web series about the history of video games. While it doesn’t have any live game play, unboxing moments or reaction videos, the YouTube show is incredibly well-edited and professional-looking, and the host does an amazing job backing up every fact or piece of trivia with solid research. 5. SeaNanners

SeaNanners is hosted by commentator Adam Montoya, who focuses his YouTube channel primarily on Let’s Play videos of first-person shooter games (Call of Duty), third-person adventure games (Grand Theft Auto), and other strategy-related video games (Minecraft). Save Your Media: Why Netflix Will Never Be Perfect

We love Netflix, but it isn’t a perfect streaming service. The truth is, it can’t be.

With growing competition, incomplete collections, and temporary trademarks on titles, Netflix’s shortcomings across a myriad of areas will likely hinder it from becoming the “all-powerful streaming service” we thought it might be just a few years ago. These limitations and imperfections are some of the many reasons why it’s important to record Netflix TV shows and movies with Replay Video Capture, and save them for offline viewing before they inevitably disappear.

Market Share

This chart below, created by Nielsen, shows the penetration of streaming services and subscription video on demand services. Netflix leads the pack of streaming online with over 61 million subscribers and 36% of the market, but Amazon and Hulu also take close to 20%.

And, research has shown that Amazon’s popularity and market share is only growing as the company gathers more customers through their Prime service, gain more title contracts, and generate more original series.

Narrow Collection

At first glance, its impressive library of movies and shows, both original and licensed, seems never-ending. But, it does end. With only around 13,300 titles offered worldwide, Netflix’s collection is actually pretty limited in terms of selection. And, because of the ongoing rivalry between Netflix, Hulu and Amazon, it’s impossible to provide a truly complete catalog at all times and win over the entirety of the market.

Temporary Licensing

Part of this narrow collection is due to the structure and process of licensing content. Netflix is frequently changing up their online offerings; the reliability of their shows and movies are completely dependent on licensing agreements made with networks and filmmakers.

According to Investopedia, these agreements could “allow Netflix to stream all seasons of [a] show in full through its online platform for one, three or five years. The licensing agreement can be renegotiated after the set time period ends, or Netflix could drop the show from its library if viewer interest is not high enough to warrant the cost.”

We were all teenagers once, but SNL sketch writer Mike O’Brien never quite got past it. 7 Minutes in Heaven is an awkward, hilarious, and yet somehow endearing, comedy channel on YouTube that hosts celebrities for super up-close-and-personal interviews. GloZell Green

GloZell has been around for what seems like forever; she’s a classically trained performer and Internet personality, and she’s built an empire around her comedic personality on YouTube. How to Record the Clinton vs. Trump Presidential Debates

The upcoming series of debates are anticipated to be the most heated, most intense, and most highly-watched of all time. With a lot of voters tuned in, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will finally go head-to-head with the first of three debates before election day on November 8.

The first debate will be held this Monday, September 26 at Hofstra University in New York. Consisting of six 15-minute discussions on major topics chosen by the moderator, NBC’s Lester Holt, Facebook and Google are even participating this year to provide data on the topics and issues, what people are saying about the election as a whole, and much more.

Incredible Clips: The Best Moments from Tour de France

Chris Froome sped through the 2016 Tour de France finish line in first place this weekend after a dramatic, empowering weekend. Winning the titles in 2013 and again in 2015, this year he was backed by “one special team” that made all the difference.

“It has been an incredible few weeks. The strength of the team was phenomenal, we had five climbers and we’ve all led teams but there were no egos and everything was all about Froome,” said Team Sky teammate, Geraint Thomas to UK broadcaster ITV4 after a crash on the 146 kilometer stretch on Stage 19.
