Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
The hilarious first season of the Tina Fey-helmed comedy is up for an Emmy this year. It’s worth watching for the feel-good laugh-out-louds. Be ready to quote and GIF the series for weeks to come.
Orange Is The New Black
After last years’ change up of taking the series off the comedy category and into the drama contenders, Orange is the New Black isn’t likely to take home an award for Best Drama. However, it has a powerhouse cast with exceptional guest characters worth the nods.
Grace And Frankie
Refreshing to see two amazingly talented older women take the reins as leads in this heart-warming comedy. Nominated for an Emmy, Lily Tomlin is brightly perfect against the polished straight-man of Jane Fonda. Up against some stiff competition, so the likelihood of winning is unknown, the show itself is great.
Daredevil
Who would have known the Marvel Universe and superhero barrage would produce a great series?! The nuanced action-heavy show is up for noms in special effects and sound design. Super (no pun intended) entertaining television, it will keep you coming back for more.
